Топик про новый патч с гипатом и заменой СС на проклятые вещи:
They just locked 17 threads about how absurd this patch will be.
The entire patch is about the cash shop and how players will be forced to pay to play. Unfortunately this game is nowhere near the quality of a pay to play title. They just let their greed ruin a potentially great game.
When I saw this and how they plan to change my class (I'm Psi) I've decided not to bother with this product anymore and so I quit. My toon was lvl40 (max lvl atm), I have seen pretty much everything anyways. It's a shame actually cos I saw lots of potential in this game but pretty much every change they had till now made this game worse.
All they did was try to hide the mechanic used to cause people to buy stuff from the cash shop a little more than it originally was. It's still transparent to anyone who gives it minimal thought.
This patch is not themed after some Allod named Gipat, it is themed after the cash shop and several ways to force micro payments on the already declining player base. It is truly too bad because Allods had potential, but the abysmal management, GM's asking players to take gpotato surveys (credit card scams for the most part), and treatment of their community has effectively signed a death warrant for this game.
This is sad news. I think Allods is a fun game that is being strangled by it's item shop. When I heard the title of this article, I thought, "yeah". FOD going away! Then I read it. Oh, replacing it with something much, much worse. FOD was a pain, but it went away with time. Now we HAVE to pay to uncurse items? I already have 3 lockboxes I can't open without shelling out cash, now cursed items are going to require cash to uncurse? This game is gonna be trampled under the boothills of greed, and it is such a shame. Really a neat little game that is no longer worth playing.
I've played LOTS of F2P titles that don't require your bank acct # to play efficiently except for Allods Online
This game was fail soon as they slipped up with the cash shop initially...
I will fully enjoy watching this title crash and burn from some jerkwad greedy pigs ruining it.
Топик человека желающего начать играть с вопросом "Как игра вообще? Плохо, хорошо, весело, скучно...? (Anyone here play or played allods that can give me some feedback? Good, Bad, Fun Boring that kinda shit.)":
expensive
only word i can use to describe it
However, that said, there are some horrendous grinds *cough*( bag quest )*cough*.And the cash shop is a little TOO useful for my comfort. Almost everything in it CAN be acquired in game, with a LOT of time and effort for some things.(Although selling keys to open chests that drop is perilously close to the line of unacceptable to me.)
In my past experience, Free to play MMOG's are never good.
The whole game is designed around the idea of getting you to spend money in the item shop, which deterioriates the game. Because the content they develop is constrained to make you spend money in the item shop.
Ну и собственно понравившееся итоговое мнение игрока (подчеркивание моё):
I think the folks complaining about f2p companies mean this:
Its better (cheaper and you get a fully developed game minus most bugs and other issues in f2p games) to just pay a $15 fee a month and enjoy a game where you can be compettitive or whatever, than to HAVE to spend $100s of Dollars a month just to be competitive as per the f2p model.
Which is better: being a $15-25 fee per month to get a game where developers have
a) actual CONTENT, not *content* as in grinding 50,000 mobs a day (which are the same skins usually just different names) to make you buy from the cash shop to get to the *fun* part of pvp
b)Customer service where the players are cared for and helped when needed and LISTENED TO
c) a higher quality of community that p2p games usually bring
d) A game that really has to rely on pleasing their player base (i.e making the game FUN) rather then putting the player base in a virtual skinner box that players PAY to play (lured in by the *Free* aspect)
Or a disaster like allods?
Everyone understands that devs arent doing it for free, but seriously why would I pay for a half finished game that forces you to compete with how much money you throw down rather than your ACTUAL skill?
THIS is why F2P games will always be second rate, (except for guild wars) and reserved for asians who really have no experience playing actual DECENT, well made games deserving of the price that is asked of it, its also why these kinds of crap tacular games THRIVE in asia, thats all they have to choose from for the most part.
In the west, most gamers can smell bullshit from a mile away. Those who dont and get sucked into f2p games are the suckers who deserve to have their money scammed away from them.
А вот тут парень проводит эксперимент аналогичный вашему, играет и с самого начала подробно описывает свои впечатления. На данный момент:
Still, I had fun, even with the quest issues and disappointing cash shop. I'm confident I'll be logging some more hours in Nezebgrad (though I will confess a bit of a grindy feeling started to creep into the game during this session. I hope that's not a sign of things to come).
